Deep fried Fish Cake (Tod Mun Pla) ทอดมันปลา



Ingredients

* 1/2 salmon fillet
* 1 1/3 tablespoons Red curry paste
* 2 tablespoons Fish Sauce
* 1 egg
* 3 tablespoons cornstarch
* 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
* 6 kaffir lime leaves, sliced very thin (use basil leaves if you can fine kaffir lime)
* 3 cups oil for deep frying

Cooking Time!!

* Remove all bones from fish and slice the meat. Combine with remaining ingredients in a food processor.
* After the mixture is throughly combined, continue to whip mixture or throw the mixture against the side of the bowl, adding lime leaves. Use water to wet hands while throwing mixture against side of bowl.
* Shape into 2 X 1 thick patties. Set aside on tray until ready to fry.
* Deep fry in hot oil until light golden brown.
* Enjoy it!


P.S. The sauce should have a salty, sweet and a little sour taste. If you live in an apartment, and dont have grill. Then you can cook the chicken in pan with non-stick spray. (make sure that the chicken is really cooked
